EASTER TRAVEL WORSHIP 2026 (1).jpeg

EASTER TRAVEL WORSHIP KIT

The resources below are provided to help you worship this Easter wherever you are.

1. Begin Together

Say together:

Christ is Risen.

He is Risen indeed.

2. Read Scripture

Read John 20:19-22.

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.

Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit..."

Optional Additional Scriptures:

Luke 24:36-49

3. Watch the Easter Message

4. Pray

Start with a breath prayer:

Set a timer for 1 minute,

or repeat the following prayer 10 times...

Breathe in: Peace be with me
Breathe out: Christ is here

Share an Easter prayer:

Jesus, thank You for being alive.
Thank You for being with us wherever we go.

Fill our hearts with Your peace.

And help us carry Your peace into the world.

Optional:

Close your time of prayer with The Lord’s Prayer.

5. Reflect or Discuss

What fears have control in your life, or keep you from feeling Christ’s peace?

Where do you need peace right now?

How are we called to be a witness to the peace of Christ?

6. Share the Good News

As you continue your travels, share the message of peace.

  • Write “Peace be with you” and leave it on the notepad in your condo or hotel room.

  • Write “peace” in the sand on the beach.

  • Write “peace” on a rock and leave it for someone else to find.

  • Leave a bigger tip than expected and leave a note of peace on the receipt.

  • Hold a door for someone and say, “Peace be with you.”

  • Insert your creative idea here…

7. Close Together

Say together:

Christ is Risen.

He is Risen Indeed.

We go forth with Christ's peace!

Amen
