WHEN IS THE FOOD PANTRY OPEN?
The Food Pantry is open to guests on Mondays from 12:00pm - 3:00pm and on Thursdays from 9:00am - 12:00pm. We are closed on major holidays. If you cannot visit during open hours and live in St. Joseph County, you can order food from a more limited choice selection to be delivered to your home.
WHERE IS THE FOOD PANTRY?
The Food Pantry is located at the Clay Church Firehouse Campus at 17646 Cleveland Road in South Bend, Indiana. We're located just east of Ironwood and about a mile west of University Park Mall. The entrance to the Food Pantry is at Door 4, just beyond the green awning on the south side of the building.
WHO CAN COME TO THE FOOD PANTRY?
Anyone is welcome to collect from the Food Pantry, but all guests will need to bring a valid Driver's License (or other valid form of state-issued identification), in addition to a piece of mail with your current address on it. Due to USDA regulations, we unfortunately will have to turn away guests who are unable to provide proper identification. Guests may collect from the Food Pantry one time each calendar month.
HOW CAN I HELP THE FOOD PANTRY?
Donations of food or financial gifts can be made at the church office at the Firehouse Campus Monday through Thursday between 9:00 and 4:00. Better yet, if you're interested in serving on a Food Pantry team, volunteering to load and unload food, helping serve guests on Mondays or Thursdays, email szumbrun@claychurch.com to get started.
