Prayer Shawl Ministry
A knitting and crocheting community – open to all skill levels – dedicated to creating beautiful prayer shawls that are freely given as a physical expression of comfort during times of need, wrapping all who wear them with spiritual warmth, love and hope.
First launched as a partnership to provide fresh water (and spiritual living water) to people in remote villages of Burkina Faso, West Africa – one of the poorest nations on earth – now also supports trained local pastors (with food, venomous bite treatments, education).
Firehouse Bike Trip
A challenging and rewarding annual bike trip that tests the physical and spiritual endurance of high school youth and adult mentors – spending six weeks training for a six-day, 400+ mile, life-changing journey. Open to beginner and experienced cyclists.
Early Childhood Programs (ECP)
One of the region’s leading programs for children, offering a year-round, academically based curriculum serving ages 6 weeks to 12 years - sharing God's love in a community of families and caring staff supporting each other and helping children thrive.
Musical Mission Tour
Summer musical theater production by high school youth that after months of rehearsals is performed locally and in several states via a week-long bus tour that exposes the arts and faith to new audiences and expresses God’s love through outreach and service in host towns.
Preventing hunger in the community twice each week that reaches hundreds (plus a Thanksgiving outreach) – this program is marked by a growing need and a growing response to it – always striving to expand operations and reach participants with unconditional love, support and prayer.
Matthew 25 House (Habitat for Humanity)
Putting God’s love into action, volunteers come together to build homes, communities and hope. Biblical focus is from Matthew 25: “I was hungry and you fed me, I was thirsty and you gave me a drink, I was homeless and you gave me a room.”
A monthly worship time and community gathering for individuals with special needs and their families/friends/caregivers. Here the love of God is experienced through freedom of expression and movement in a supportive and caring environment designed to celebrate everyone’s unique abilities.
Groups of adult and youth volunteers visit Tapachula, Mexico to provide support and relief for the staff of homes for children whose parents are in prison – and their stories are shared and needs responded to through prayer and contributions from Clay’s adults, youth and children.
