This weekday ministry program is for children 3 months
to 12 years of age. It is a registered ministry with the Indiana State Health Department and the Indiana State Fire Marshall. Parents may choose any day or days for the child to attend this program. Hours to choose from are 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. or 12:45 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. until 4:45 p.m. There is a minimum eight-hour requirement per week to enroll a child and four-hours per week minimum for nursery care. After school care is provided for children 6 yrs. to 12 yrs. of age. Extended care is available to children from 4:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for an added fee.
Classroom curriculum is developed by age appropriate academically based goals and objectives. These goals and objectives are stepping stones toward preparing young children for their Kindergarten year and beyond.
A few examples of our goals and objectives are as follows:
-Staff will strive to provide a warm, nurturing Christian environment through words and actions.
-To let children know the importance in giving thanks in prayer to God at lunch and snack.
-To learn about themselves and to feel valued and secure in their relationships.
-To develop social and emotional skills.
-To develop language development and reading readiness stills.
-To develop mathematics readiness skills through hands on
manipulative.
-Experimenting with Science and cooking activities.
